Driving from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) to Barrio Cruz in Moca is a straightforward cross-island trip of about 1 hour 40–45 minutes (˜130–142 km) depending on traffic.
Exit the airport and take PR-26 Oeste (Expreso Román Baldorioty de Castro) toward San Juan, then merge onto PR-22 Oeste (Expreso José de Diego) heading west toward Arecibo. Stay on PR-22 for most of the drive along the north coast. Near the northwest region (around Aguadilla/Añasco area), take the exit toward PR-2 Oeste, then connect to PR-111 or PR-110 toward Moca (both are main access roads into the town). Continue inland toward Moca pueblo, and from there follow local roads/signs into Barrio Cruz, which is a rural barrio within the municipality.
Overall, it’s a smooth highway drive for most of the route, with the last stretch becoming more local/rural roads as you approach Barrio Cruz.
